Hello~

To me heroes are those that have touched our lives, influenced us in certain way or have just been a source of true inspiration. Lois Pemberton, aka “Lois Lane” has been that to me. As a family we have gone through a tremendous amount of love, loss and life. She continues to amaze me daily with her personal strength and courage. This walk is for her as she is possible the most unselfish person I know and a huge inspiration to me.

I love you Lois, my sister, my friend and my inspiration….

My goal is to raise $5000 and I need $1800 to walk. Two days and 39.3 miles!!!!

Things have been busy but in a very good way. Saturday Andy, my sister in law Micky and I went to the DC Wizard's Basketball game. It was military night and although they did not win (it was a close game) it was great to see the spirit and support that surrounded us.

Sunday was an EARLY morning! It was a great day but COLD. More to follow but hopefully (cross all fingers and toes)I will have future exciting news.

Much love-

Deanna, Andy, Halo & Jose!
