Hello!

I am happy to announce that I will be representing the District of Columbia at the Mrs.United States Pageant this summer in Las Vegas. Thank you Joe Peri & Dimitri from SKINN Cosmetics for your sponsorship! Also a special THANK YOU to Elizabeth Grant International for always dressing me like a queen!!!!! I am excited for the opportunity and humbled that Isabella and the United States Family has chosen me as a representative. I had a great time at the Mrs. MD & VA US pageant and I look forward to spending time with my sister queens during the week of festivities!

The past few months have been crazy and I will be very happy when we finally purchase our new home. Being military, everyone thinks we are crazy for wanting to purchase but living overseas truly has made me value home and family even more.

A few quick family updates...Lois started radiation and is doing well. She is an amazing inspiration for me and really helped me to get through last year when Andy was deployed. Of course my wonderful big bro & nephew (Benjamin) did also. I love them deeply and are so blessed to have them in my life. Our family has gone through a lot in the last 6 years with the loss of our parents and David and it is the core strength that keeps us strong. WE LOVE YOU GUYS!

Mic, my sister in law has gotten engaged to a great man (a Doctor of Osteopath in PA). We were fortunate to be able to meet him and I am looking forward to their pending nuptuals.

My nephew, Jason Weber with the National Guard will be deploying this summer to Iraq. When have have an address, I will post it. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.

We were interviewed by the Tennessean last week in regards to our efforts with Tennessee Marine Families. Andy gave a great interview and I will post it when it becomes available. Please log on to www.americasupportsyou.mil and Tennessee Marine Families to learn how you can give back.

I will be emceeing the Mrs.Delaware pageant on May 20th. Check out www.moorepageantproductions.com to learn more! I think there is still time to enter! The Florida US pageant is coming up also!!!!! Pam and Siouxann are both great ladies and directors! Good luck to all of the ladies competing!

Our deepest love to all!!!!!

This weekend was a great weekend to give back. Andy, Garth Winterlea & myself went to Tennessee to help out with the Tennessee Marine Families package drive. Packages were sent to Army, Air Force, Naval and Marine personnel who are currently deployed or serving overseas in the war on terror. Tennessee Marine Families is recognized by America Supports You and all of its efforts resulted in over 400 packages being sent out!!!! The event was well organized and thank you to all who donated for this very worthy cause. I was fortunate to help out last year and honored to have my husband back from Iraq this year (and Garth too) to help out with this event. I want to say a special thank you to Donna Clemons and Arlene Smith for their amazing work and giving back so much to not only their community but for those serving worldwide. Their son's are currently serving and I thank them so much for their service.

I have attached pictures from the event. To learn more, log onto http://www.tnmarinefamily.org/index.htm

Hello-

I wanted to pass this on to all my Tennessee friends and family regarding Tennessee Marine Family package drive.

The date for the Spring
package drive is Saturday, April 21st immediately after our
potluck luncheon at 12 Noon. We will be in the fellowship hall
of Donelson Christian Church, 2319 Lebanon Rd., Nashville,
TN.

Check out www.tnmarinefamily.org for a list of suggest items.

I participated in this drive last year when my husband was deployed. Packages were also sent to him and handed out at the Combat Support Hospital in the Green Zone, Iraq. The military personnel that received these packages were beyond appreciative. I understand socks and calling cards are a few favorites but anything from home is welcome. They also LOVE candy, just no chocolate as it melts.

(as far as calling cards, make sure it is an International Calling Card. Walmart sells them. Many people are unaware that they pay for their own calls home in most cases.)

Postage is also needed to ship these boxes.

Andy and I will be there this year also to support this drive. Whether Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines, I encourage and appreciate any support you can give to this worthwhile cause.

If you are in the area, I would love to see you there!!!!!!

With warm wishes and many blessings to all and thank you in advance.
