Hum, military men in the military banned from smoking....
At what point is control too much control by the government? I am not a smoker and never have been. Saying that both of my parents smoked and my Brother and Sister smoke. (I think the time I rolled up a piece of paper and inhaled stopped me from ever smoking....I was young and actually did that and glad I did in retrospect:)but I don't agree. I know and understand the repercussions of smoking and have had conversations with my husband about it. He "chewed" in Iraq which I find disgusting. Regardless, I am not on the front lines, I get that there is stress involved and for gosh sakes (the Disney version) he is serving our country. My only request is NOT AT HOME and today he does neither.
Smoke in the designated areas is all I ask and not in the dining room. Take your hat off to please:)
I remember flying to Florida from Germany and there where many military personnel on the plane. We had a layover in Atlanta. A young soldier wanted a beer on the plane and they would not serve him. I DO NOT CONDONE UNDERAGE DRINKING but here is the exception and perhaps I was/am skewed from living in Europe where the drinking age is 16 for beer. If you are sacrificing your life for your country and can vote, you can have a beer. Just my thought.
