My Wonderful husband!




Today is a special day for me. The sun is shining, life is good and love is in the air. Today is my wedding anniversary. (ok I am military so we had two weddings but today is the anniversary of the day I wore the big white dress:)) I met my husband through our good friends Gretchen & Jarrod Bain in Nashville, Tennessee. My Mother use to say to me that when you meet the right one, you will know and for the once run away bride, I knew the minute I met him. We have endured life, loss, deployment but most of all LOVE in our marriage. To write all that makes him special would take a book as he holds so many qualities that I admire, respect and love. So today I am honoring the greatest man I have ever known, my husband MAJ Christopher Andrew Linz.

I cannot believe you picked me in a sea of choices. You have given me so much and allowed me to just be myself. You have supported all my dreams and aspirations; even the one’s that no one else believes in. From the proposal when we were feeding the ducks with rice cakes and I almost fed the duck the rice cake with my ring in it (ok so all I had was rice cakes at my house),our journeys and travels while living in Germany, the 11mile hike in the Samaria Gorge on our honeymoon and the man with the donkey:))), all of the dedication you have given to our causes and the military community, being “Heart Man”, all the Karaoke “gigs”, to you holding me while I broke down in the parking lot of Walmart because I missed my parents so much, you have never made me feel like I needed to be anyone but myself. I am blessed, honored and humbled to be your wife. Waking up with you is such a gift. You make me a better person because you are in my life. Your patience, love, respect for me and our life and families still amazes me daily.
