Today was a very emotional day but ended in pageantry. We started the day in Bethesda and then went to visit the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC. We visited the ortho unit and I am always amazed to see the inner strength of our military personnel and their families. The YANKEES had been in earlier but they still were excited to have visitors.Thank you to Master Sergeant Dana Redden for being our guide and Walter Reed for welcoming us.
Tonight we attended the Mrs Maryland America and DC America pageant. It was a great show that resulted in the crowing of two very beautiful queens.
Congrats to Adrienne Carver, Mrs. Maryland America 2007 & Susan Sweat, the new Mrs. District of Columbia America!!!!!!
I had the pleasure of sitting with Darlene Deeben also and I am so excited for her at the upcoming Galaxy pageant in Orlando. What a BEAUTIFUL lady!!!!
