What an amazing day on the hill! I had the honor of meeting with the offices of Sen Ben Cardin, Sen Barbara Mikulski, Rep Chrisopher Van Hollen (who gave an amazing speech the previous day at the rally) and Rep Donna Edwards. They were all very engaged and open to the work that the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association does and the importance of the funding for the NIH and the Million Hearts initiatiative.
