Today was such an incredible day filled with so much emotion and at the end of the day physical pain. I considered myself somewhat fit but 26 miles later, well, I am feeling pain in parts of my body that I had never officially "met" before! I have renamed the walk, Survivor Avon!

Roughly 3000 walked showed up and over 3 million dollars was raised for DC alone!

13 miles to go tomorrow and that is just hoping I can get out of bed!

Thank you again for all who are sponsoring this journey and to Lois, I realize this is nothing compared to the steps you have walked and I only hope to make you proud. I love you.

Day 2~ I DID IT!!!!
As hard as this weekend was, it was extremely rewarding. I am very tired but inspired by the heart and gestures of others to champion this great cause. The DC walk had about 3500 walkers and raised over 8.1 million dollars!!!!! I walked on an average of 4 miles per hour (for the most part). I met so many amazing people and they were from all over the country. One lady I meet is actually doing 5 different walks and has raised over $10,000. The event was extremely organized and the weather worked in our favor. Reese Witherspoon took part of the closing events.

Thank you to all who supported my walk and donating to the Avon Foundation. I hope we find a cure in my lifetime.

Lots of love to all!!!!
