Hello-
In answer to the questions I have been receiving, yes Andy's old Brigade, 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division out of Baumholder, Germany is redeploying this year. It is hard to believe because they just arrived home last November. This tour is scheduled for 15 months of deployment.I cannot help but be saddened for the soldiers and their families. At this point Andy will not be deploying but we really will not know until June. The waiting is the hardest part. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Baumholder community, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU!
Congrats also to Amy Kirk!!!!! Baumholder Volunteer of the YEAR!!!!! VERY MUCH DESERVED!!!!!

Beefsteak Dinner Fundraiser for Paramus Freedom Walk 2007
On May 11th at 6:30 pm at the Paramus Elks Club, Operation Goody Bag will be hosting a Beefsteak Dinner to raise funds for the Paramus Freedom Walk 2007. We will be showcasing our “Salute to the Troops” show during the evening, interspersed with 50/50 raffles, gift basket raffles and an autograph auction.

Operation Troop Appreciation is hosting a golf outing, silent auction and banquet to benefit U.S. forces serving overseas. Prizes and auction items include a new car for a hole-in-one, and a new set of clubs with bag. Sponsorships are available. Bring your spirit, flags, signs and Support for our men and women that defend us and our nation every day. Please leave your personal opinions of the war at home. This is about our troops, not the war!
