It has been a busy week and certainly one filled with many emotions. We had our "official" hail and farewell this week and "official" welcome home. The hail and farewell is a ceremony given to officers and NCO's that are leaving and coming to a new duty station. As many of these soldiers returned back from Iraq in the past few weeks, we had quite a few to celebrate. A special congrats and WE WILL MISS YOU too, CAPT Brian, Bethani & Rowan Luti. Also to CAPT John, Lisa and JP Hiltz. Many blessings and well wishes! Brian and Bethani....you are forever our friends and we love and respect you dearly. I am quite sure we can all share many more laughs in the future! I am sure all of you will find much continued success!

The welcome home ceremony was extremely emotional. I feel so blessed to have my husband home but my heart goes out to the soldiers and their families of the 28 soldiers who did not. It was another typical cold and rainy day in Baumholder and the loss was felt by all. It is amazingly erie and humbling to be in the presence of so many heroes and the angels of the fallen soldiers. God bless them and their families.

God bless to all this holiday season-
